On Thursday, April 9, 2026, Rencontre Réconciliation will participate in the LEA Masters Forum organized at UCO in Angers, dedicated to the theme:
"The future of Europe: democratic challenges and international mobility" .
This event brings together students, speakers and committed actors around the major issues facing European societies today: civic engagement, movement of people, understanding of legacies and contemporary challenges.
On this occasion, our association will offer a stand to present its work of collecting and transmitting family stories related to European history.
Because behind the current democratic challenges there are also individual stories, sometimes silent memories, and legacies that continue to influence our relationship with the world.
We are convinced that understanding these stories helps to shed light on the present and fosters a more nuanced reflection on the future of our societies.
